INDIVIDUAL MEMORY IN THE NOVELS OF VLADIMIR TABAŠEVIĆ

Abstract

In this paper we analyze the process of constitution of individual memory in Vladimir Tabašević’s novelistic fiction. The structure of the work consists of three conceptual metaphors: memory is language, memory is trauma, memory is water which emphasize the nuances and homogeneity of the given topic. In the paper, we also refer to numerous theoretical studies that deal with this topic, but we also include a comparative aspect from which the key points of Vladimir Tabašević’s poetics can be seen.
